About Us

Southern Heritage has been a school fundraising company since 1982. We started when Ed Tonore decided he wanted to help local schools and began selling smoked turkeys as a fundraiser. Over the years, the business grew and Ed retired from his law firm to focus on the fundraisers. Our business may have grown, but our goals never changed. Today we are run entirely by family, and we are proud to be able to say we have helped thousands of schools, churches, and groups raise over $60 million through our fundraisers.

Part of those fundraising programs has become the gourmet smoked snack sticks we sell. We have sold our sticks to hundreds of thousands of families across the South, and we’ve had more and more people reaching out who want to buy our sticks but don’t live near a school that’s currently selling. Now we’re bringing these sticks, as well as some other goodies, online for you to order right to your door. 

We prioritize quality and heritage. Our flavors are inspired by the real life traditions and experiences we love from across the south. We don’t want to provide another generic snack sticks - we want to stand out.
